    Job Description

The Head of Enterprise Performance supports the organization by providing enterpriselevel performance leadership that defines nonnegotiable standards, enables early identification of operational and financial risk, and enforces timely corrective action to protect delivery, margin, and enterprise outcomes as the business scales and integrates.

    Enterprise Performance Standards

    • Define, implement, and enforce enterprisewide, nonnegotiable performance standards across financial, operational, quality, and workforce dimensions.
    • Establish consistent definitions, thresholds, and expectations to ensure uniform performance discipline across all business units and contracts.

    EarlyWarning & Performance Risk Visibility

    • Design and operate an enterprise earlywarning framework to identify emerging performance, operational, and financial risk.
    • Provide clear, timely enterpriselevel visibility into business unit and contract performance, enabling earlier leadership intervention.

    Corrective Action & Accountability

    • Require rootcause analysis and corrective action plans when performance deviates from defined standards.
    • Ensure corrective actions are executed, tracked, and sustained, verifying that interventions result in measurable performance improvement.

    Enterprise Performance Governance

    • Lead the enterprise performance governance rhythm, ensuring discussions are exceptionbased, outcomefocused, and actionoriented.
    • Partner with executive leaders to prioritize attention on material risks and performance gaps requiring intervention.

    Integration & Transformation Support

    • Lead the establishment of performance standards, reporting, and governance for acquisitions and major integrations.
    • Embed a repeatable enterprise performance management framework postintegration to prevent performance drift and ensure durable outcomes.

    Executive Partnership & Influence

    • Operate as a trusted enterprise partner to the CFO and executive leadership team, providing independent challenge and insight on performance health.
    • Influence senior leaders to take timely and decisive action when enterprise performance is at risk.
    Qualifications

    Required

    • Demonstrated experience providing enterpriselevel performance leadership in complex, scaled organizations, with accountability for enforcing performance discipline across multiple business units, contracts, or portfolios.
    • Proven track record of defining and enforcing nonnegotiable performance standards, frameworks, or governance models at scale.
    • Experience designing or operating earlywarning mechanisms that surface performance, operational, or financial risk before outcomes are compromised.
    • Demonstrated success driving corrective action and accountability when performance deviates, including requiring rootcause analysis and ensuring interventions result in sustained improvement.
    • Executivelevel credibility with the confidence and judgment to challenge senior leaders, influence decisionmaking, and operate effectively with CFO and executive sponsorship.
    • Experience supporting transformation, integration, or acquisition activity, including establishing performance governance and embedding disciplined performance management postintegration.

    Leadership & Capability Profile

    • Strong enterprise mindset with the ability to operate independently across organizational boundaries.
    • Decisive, outcomesfocused leader comfortable driving difficult conversations and enforcing standards in highstakes environments.
    • Highly credible communicator with the presence to influence executive stakeholders and enable actionoriented performance discussions.
    • Strong judgment and commercial acumen, with a clear focus on protecting enterprise outcomes, delivery, and margin.

    Preferred

    • Experience in contractheavy, operationally complex, or multibusiness environments.
    • Background working closely with CFOs, transformation leaders, or enterprise risk functions.
