Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Associate to work in our West Sacramento, California location. This position is responsible for receiving incoming raw materials, maintaining accurate records, and delivering materials to the production floor.

This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Your Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM, with some weekends as needed.

Your Responsibilities:

• Unload incoming materials and supplies and place into inventory
• Prepare, issue, and deliver materials to the production floor
• Maintain logs, records, and forms in an accurate and organized manner
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, box truck, and other material handling equipment
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash
• Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment
• Perform cycle counts of materials

You Must Have:

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and box truck
• Ability to use a computer system to track inventory
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments
• Basic computer and math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals
• Ability and willingness to perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to follow all safety procedures
• Ability to sit, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, reach, and drive as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move throughout the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $20.00-$22.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
