About the Role:

The Data Foundation Strategy team partners closely with leadership across Salesforce's high-growth businesses - including MuleSoft, Informatica ,Platform, and Heroku. We act as a central hub for strategic planning, business performance insights, and decision-enabling analytics.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility individual contributor role that blends strategic thinking with deep analytical work. You'll be at the core of how we turn data into action - influencing sales strategy, operation efficiency, product growth, enablement, and sales motion.

What You'll Do:

* Act as the go-to expert on data and analytics, providing strategic recommendations and insights through compelling, data-driven storytelling to influence key stakeholders
* Design and build executive-level dashboards and self-serve reporting tools to track KPIs across Data Foundations
* Own the end-to-end development of curated datasets and scalable reporting pipelines in Snowflake and other internal tools (Tableau Prep, Airflow)
* Enable and automate operational rhythms such as QBRs, APMs, G4G, and monthly business reviews by delivering high-quality insights and visuals
* Collaborate across functions - including finance, sales programs, operations, and product to align on goals and inform key decisions
* Partner with teams to standardize definitions, metrics, and reporting frameworks for consistency across the org

Tools & Skills You'll Use:

* Proficiency in query language SQL , visualization (Tableau), automation (Airflow / Python), data platform (Snowflake)
* In-depth knowledge of sales related datasets / metrics e.g. acv, op, pipegen, account, aov, commit, g4g, carving, etc.
* Experience in managing datasets, building reporting layers, and delivering BI solutions that scale
* Ability to translate business questions into structured analysis, and distill complex results into actionable insights through data

What We're Looking For:

* 2-3 years of experience in data analytics / business intelligence
* Strong business acumen with a passion for data and analytics
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
* Detail-oriented with the ability to zoom out and think strategically
* A "get-it-done" attitude with the curiosity to explore and improve
* Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to executives

The typical base salary range for this position is $99,400 - $150,300 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $118,900 - $163,500 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
