JOB SUMMARY:

• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
• Formulates systems that align with overall business strategies.
• Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
• Provides consultation on complex projects and is the top-level contributor/specialist on the Air Force Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS).

PRIMARY DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and formulates desired results of scope.
• Includes analysis of business and user needs, requirements documentation, and system requirement specifications.
• Guide and advise less-experienced Business Systems Analysts. Experienced working at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
• Experience with Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO's) and Inspection and Time Change required.

RELEVANT EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience in the IMDS OS Family of Systems. Agile Software Development Experience and Training.

Tools/ETools: Remedy, Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Management), PL SQL Developer, CSCS, Dev/Ops, Defense Intelligence Information Enterprise (DI2E), HP ALM, Visual Studio, Git, and the MS Office suite of software. Familiar with Cloud One, AWS, Azure and DISA

CERTIFICATION(S):

• Security Plus Preferred
