About the role

The Total Talent Consultant II, under minimal supervision, facilitates the full life-cycle direct hire recruitment process and all stages of contingent labor requisition activity. Participates in supervised projects. Typically, responsible for one or more client accounts with a high volume of hiring needs that cover various roles, skillsets and geographies. Ensures adherence to direct and contingent program compliance processes. Optimizes
efforts to service clients in a high quality, timely and cost-effective manner. Provides oversight, training and leadership to ensure end user community and partnerships reach potential.

What you'll be doing

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manages workflow processes within the team, identifies areas of improvement and provides a recommendation to improve the process.
* Utilizes independent judgement to determine what skills or requirements are needed for a requisition and collaborates with the client for any decisions regarding revisions to the requisition prior to posting.
* Owns the vendor management system, identifies potential enhancements that will support the workflow process and works with the vendor management support team to implement these enhancements.
* Serves as an escalation point for moderately complex to complex issues for both candidates and hiring managers.
* Provides input on new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and recommends revisions to current SOP's as needed.
* Leads requisitions and/or assists with facilitating approvals for direct and contingent requisitions.
* Trains industry best practices, as well as client-specific needs and expectations, to less experienced team members.
* Identifies areas of potential optimization, shares with management, and assists with developing solutions
* Establishes, fosters and maintains positive working relationships with client's end users, stakeholders and strategic partners through regular phone and in-person contact.
* Facilitates in-take call with end users to provide consultative support to clarify job responsibilities, skills and other relevant requirements.

* Audits candidate submittals to ensure the best qualified candidates are submitted for end user review and placement.
* Schedules candidates for telephone and/or face-to-face interviews and orientations, if applicable.
* Administers candidate assessments and pre-screens as per qualification standards, if applicable.
* Administers pre-employment activities, including, but not limited to, coordinating forms, applications, offer letters and expense reports, drug testing, background and reference checks, and security clearance validation.
* Coordinates the preparation of and/or assists with the distribution of new hire info packets, if applicable.
* Audits candidate files to ensure records are completed and entered into the appropriate systems

* Enters and tracks candidate data in various electronic and vendor management systems.
* Generates standard reports from various electronic and vendor management systems, as required.
* Fields moderately complex to complex inquiries from candidates and hiring managers; escalates inquiries to senior team members and/or management as necessary.
* Assists with coordinating logistics for recruiting events, job fairs, open houses, and invitation-only events.
* Assists in maintaining program's Standard Operating Procedures on a regular basis to ensure understanding and compliance.
* Communicates program changes and updates to client's end users, stakeholders and strategic partners in a timely manner.
* Facilitates to ensure suppliers appropriately manage employee on-boarding, employee relations issues, orientations, performance reviews, and off-boarding activities, when applicable.
* Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

About you

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience.

Full life-cycle direct hire recruitment process experience required.

Previous experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or Human Resources Information Systems

(HRIS), preferred but not required.

Previous experience utilizing Vendor Management Systems (VMS), preferred but not required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
* Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Skilled in preparing clear and concise documents, including, but not limited to reports, correspondences, and other written materials.
* Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive/confidential information.
* Ability to function effectively with or as part of a team.
* Ability to perform accurately in a detail oriented environment.
* Ability to demonstrate effective customer services skills.
* Ability to maintain a basic understanding of compliance with related federal, state, and local laws, rulesand regulations.
* Knowledge of and the ability to demonstrate effective office practices and etiquette.
* Proficient with electronic recruiting and sourcing resources, such as customer relationship management (CRM) tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), vendor management systems (VMS) and
job boards.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $65,000. Salary may be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. This position participates in Pontoon's incentive program which also includes bonus eligibility.

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
