We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer/Integration Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be a key architect and engineer of our data platform, supporting critical business operations. You will balance maintaining robust legacy pipelines in Microsoft SQL Server and Informatica while aggressively driving our modern data strategy using Snowflake and dbt Cloud. The ideal candidate is an expert in both ETL and ELT patterns and is eager to push the boundaries of Snowflake's ecosystem-including Streamlit apps and Cortex AI-to deliver actionable insights across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to ingest data from diverse source systems into the Snowflake Data Cloud
  • Lead the modernization of legacy Informatica and Microsoft SQL Server workflows by migrating them to dbt Cloud and Snowflakenative architectures
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain Snowflake objects, including Stored Procedures, Tasks, Streams, and other platform-native components
  • Enable advanced analytics and selfservice capabilities by developing Streamlit applications and leveraging Snowflake Cortex AI for machine learning and LLMbased use cases
  • Manage and monitor complex job scheduling using enterprise orchestration tools such as Automic, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of data pipelines
  • Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Business Analysts to transform raw data into curated, analyticsready datasets that support operational efficiency across oil and gas assets

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent relevant industry experience
  • Five (5+) years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a related discipline
  • Expertlevel proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Proven handson experience with the Snowflake Data Cloud, including Notebooks, Stored Procedures, and Tasks
  • Experience working with Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Informatica, and Microsoft SQL Server in production environments
  • Strong understanding of both traditional ETL and modern ELT design patterns and best practices
  • Experience with enterprise scheduling and orchestration tools such as Automic

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong IT background within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Experience developing Streamlit applications for business and analytics users
  • Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex AI for machine learning and large language model integrations
  • Exposure to Snowflake Openflow
  • Experience using Apache NiFi for realtime or nearrealtime data ingestion
