Brief Description
Act as the Technical Lead directly responsible for the analysis, solution design, and implementation of complex government modernization initiatives. This role leads the transition of legacy applications to Salesforce Government Cloud Plus utilizing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS).
Description: Essential Functions & Duties
  • Technical Leadership: Directly responsible for the architectural design and implementation of modernized portal solutions using Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS).
  • Modernization: Lead the migration initiative transitioning legacy application components to Salesforce Government Cloud Plus.
  • Data Strategy: Oversee the ingestion and management of high-volume data sets (exceeding 500 MB) from enterprise source systems, ensuring data integrity and scalability in a Developer Pro sandbox environment.
  • Development: Design, develop, and test enterprise web APIs, user interfaces, and batch jobs. Develop high-quality, shippable code in short increments within an Agile team.
  • Security & Compliance: Work closely with security teams to meet required FedRAMP High security controls and maintain full ATO alignment.
  • Platform Management: Create and manage profiles, monitor access levels, and configure Salesforce systems to support multi-portal ecosystem requirements.
  • Collaboration: Partner with product management to translate federal requirements into technical designs and provide accurate level-of-effort estimates.
Skills, Qualifications, and Certifications
  • Certifications: Professional certificate as a Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, and Salesforce Public Sector Solutions or OmniStudio Developer/Consultant certification.
  • Technical Expertise: Expert skills in REST, JSON, SOAP, WSDL, and XML Schema. Proficient in Salesforce PSS, Experience Cloud, and Government Cloud Plus.
  • Data Modeling: Extensive knowledge of various principles of data management and complex data modeling (Salesforce objects).
  • Integration: Experience with MuleSoft or similar middleware for event-based integration between legacy enterprise systems and Salesforce.
  • Tools: Experience using SoapUI, Postman, or similar tools for testing web services.
  • Accessibility: Strong knowledge of Web accessibility (WCAG 2.0 / Section 508).
  • Methodology: Proven experience leading technical teams in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to analyze existing code and assume technical ownership.
  • Experience Plus: Having direct experience with OmniStudio development and Public Sector Solutions implementation is a significant plus.

Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs. As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the highest pay that Synergy believes in good faith it might pay for this particular job, depending on the circumstances. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $123,000.00 - $180,000.00.

Essential Job Function Physical Requirements: The physical requirements of this position are critical in evaluating the qualifications and abilities of an applicant or employee. The physical efforts needed to perform the essential duties of this job 90% of the time are repetitive motions, grasping, holding, and finger dexterity of the hands, reading, writing, eye-hand coordination, color distinction, and full visual abilities, hearing, talking, sitting, and use of IT equipment, phones, and office machines.

To a reduced degree, <30% of the time, candidates may have to stand, walk, lift 0-30 pounds, push or pull objects, climb stairs, bend, squat, reach, drive a car, or work overtime.
