Post Doctoral Researcher

The postdoc will assist research and development of the DOD project in advancing towards next-generation. Train, teach essential UG course(s) as needed by the department.

The College of Engineering, with over 2,800 students, has EAC ABET accredited undergraduate programs in Architectural, Bio-, Biological, Civil, Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering, as well as a CAC ABET-accredited program in Computer Science. On the Graduate level, the College has 8 Masters of Science Degree programs, and 5 Doctoral programs. The 5 research cluster areas of the College of Engineering ( COE) are Autonomous Systems, Cybersecurity and Resilience, Energy and Sustainability, Healthcare Applications and Complex Systems and Networks. The Department of Chemical, Biological, and Bio- Engineering offers ABET-accredited Bachelor's of Science programs in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Biological Engineering, and offers Masters of Science programs in Bioengineering and Chemical Engineering. The Department has 9 full-time faculty members in engineering, 3 staff members and 3 adjunct faculty members. Major research includes the NSF Engineering Research Center for Revolutionizing Metallic Biomaterials, the CREST Bioenergy Center, the NSF RED project "A Revolution in Engineering Education Motivated by Needs and Designs," and recently-awarded grants supporting a new Biotechnology Center and Carbon Capture research.

PhD in chemistry, chemical engr., material science engr., or equivalent fields with emphasis on electrochemical research background.
