| Primary Purpose of Position |
The Department of Applied Engineering Technology at North Carolina A&T State University and College of Science and Technology invite candidates to apply for a post doctoral position. The employee will be a member of battery research group at Applied Engineering Technology (
AET) Department, supporting projects through original research, collaboration with other team members, and mentoring of students. The employee will also contribute to additional proposal efforts, thereby strengthening North Carolina A&T State University's ability to attract external funding.
The employee's principal research responsibilities will be designing and performing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting and publishing experimental results. The employee will also exercise a considerable amount of independent judgment and original thinking in carrying out research that contributes to original knowledge and advances the University's reputation in research. |

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is an 1890 land-grant doctoral Research University dedicated to learning, discovery, and community engagement. The College of Science and Technology enrolls over 2514 students. It is a national leader that serves and engages the citizens of the state of North Carolina, the nation, and the world through preeminence in science and technology education, research, discovery, and innovation. The College houses the departments of Applied Engineering Technology, Biology, Built Environment, Chemistry, Computer Systems Technology, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics, and the Ph.D. Program of Applied Science Technology. The College is experiencing substantial growth in enrollment, faculty size, curricula, and research.
The Department of Applied Engineering Technology serves ~400 students in the following degree programs: BS in Applied Engineering Technology, BS in Automotive Engineering Technology, BS in Computer Graphics Technology, MS in Technology Management, and PhD in Applied Science and Technology - Technology Management concentration. The Department's mission is to prepare students for success in transforming society through innovation and technology leadership. | Minimum Requirements |
The employee will have already acquired a Ph.D. or equivalent acceptable degree in in the areas of Material Science/Chemical Engineering, specializing in inorganic material synthesis |
