Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Commercial Multiline Underwriter to join our team at our on-site location in Summit, NJ. This role involves evaluating and underwriting insurance applications, analyzing risk factors, preparing quotes, and managing policy renewals. The ideal candidate will collaborate with agents and clients, maintain underwriting guidelines, and support the overall profitability of the business portfolio while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding and proficiency in Underwriting, Insurance, and handling diverse types of commercial policies
• Analytical Skills to assess risk, determine coverage, and ensure compliance with underwriting standards
• Attention to detail and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with the team
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in commercial multiline underwriting is highly desirable

Salary/Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 per year
