Data Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role focuses on data analysis, visualization, and automation within an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building automated workflows, developing data processing pipelines, and creating interactive dashboards and reports using Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx to support key analytics and business intelligence use cases.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Python for developing data processing pipelines, implementing statistical models, performing exploratory data analysis (EDA), and utilizing key libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and matplotlib
• Strong ability to write complex SQL queries, optimize database performance, create stored procedures, manage data models, and work with relational database structures in SQL Server
• Strong proficiency in Tableau for building interactive dashboards (including trends), creating calculated fields, designing data visualizations, and publishing/maintaining content in Tableau Server
• Skilled in Power BI for building interactive dashboards and reports, designing data models, creating DAX measures, showing trends, and publishing/maintaining enterprise-level reporting solutions
• Hands-on experience with Alteryx building automated workflows for data cleansing, blending, and transformation
• Experience with Jira or other Agile project management tools
