As a Pricing Analyst at Bob's Discount Furniture, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers find high-quality products at the best everyday low price. You will support competitive pricing strategies, analyze market and customer data, and contribute to pricing decisions that directly impact sales and profitability. This role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to our Manchester, CT home office and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Key Skills for Success Core Competencies & Expertise Pricing & Competitive Analysis Conduct competitive pricing analysis and monitor market trends Support pricing decisions across the product lifecycle (launch markdown exit) Data Analysis & Insights Analyze customer purchasing patterns and pricing performance Use data tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Pricing Execution & Systems Maintain accurate retail pricing and internal pricing architecture Execute pricing setup and updates across stores/zones Financial & Business Acumen Understand key performance metrics including margin, CPI, and sales impact Support pricing strategies aligned to overall business goals Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve pricing workflows and systems Contribute to ongoing pricing strategy development Preferred Competencies & Skills Experience with pricing analytics tools and data systems Strong Excel / data manipulation skills Retail, merchandising, or consumer pricing experience Exposure to cross-functional environments (merchandising, finance, operations) How You'll Work (Behavioral & Leadership Skills) Collaboration: Works effectively across merchandising and cross-functional teams Customer Focus: Keeps customer value and price perception at the center of decisions Critical Thinking: Solves complex problems using structured analysis Communication: Clearly communicates insights and recommendations Innovation Mindset: Continuously looks for ways to improve pricing strategies and processes Who We Are At Bob's, we have fun, we love what we do, and we're growing fast!
