Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tray Delivery Supervisor.

In this role, the successful candidate Under the direction of the Manager, Dietary Patient Services, supervises, directs, and coordinates the activities of the tray passing staff with the goal of distributing menus, feeding patients and collecting dirty trays for ware washing in a timely fashion. Responsible for quality improvement audits and patient visits.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs other duties as assigned
• Monitors and tracks patient satisfaction. Performs audits to measure menu return, temperatures, and accuracy.
• Responsible for the scheduling of tray passing staff to ensure adequate staffing for each zone in accordance with budgeted Full Time Equivalents (FTE) and with minimal use of overtime.
• Provides training of new tray passing personnel. Completes evaluations for tray passing staff.
• Monitors all infection control procedures by tray passing personnel.
• Monitors proper scripting techniques and double identification of patient used by tray passing personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1 - 2 years In a Tray Passing and/or Food Service role.
Strong communication (both oral and written) and customer service skills.
Ability read well and write legibly.
Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:
OtherCompletion of 120Hour Dietary Managers course. 1 - 2 years Supervisory or management. Basic computer skills.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $34.00 - $34.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
