Workplace Experience Food Services Manager - JLL

What this job involves:

The Workplace Experience Food Services Manager aligns with the Workplace Experience Platform and is responsible for overseeing food service programs at a defined client real estate portfolio. This position ensures that F&B programs, including pantry services, are delivered effectively to not only meet but exceed client expectations. As a client-facing role, you will provide superior service while implementing sustainable food practices and leveraging technology to enhance service delivery. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Assist the Client Program Manager with oversight of Food Service operations and activities, including Third Party Service contractors
  • Track vendor performance on outsourced provider service contracts and ongoing administration, verifying best pricing and service levels
  • Manage account programs to ensure safety and compliance with national, state, and local codes and regulations
  • Plan, design, and implement comprehensive food-based nutrition and wellness programs including awareness events, classes, demonstrations, and communications
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues in existing systems and processes
  • Monitor the effectiveness of maintenance efforts for facilities, ensuring work is completed under account KPIs
  • Drive client-specific initiatives such as technology rollouts, marketplace benchmarking, and program best practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, master's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of eight to ten years progressive experience in foodservice/hospitality management
  • Strong vendor management experience
  • Strong background in a leadership role with exposure to contract management, customer service, people development, and food services
  • Exhibits strong communication, presentation, and listening skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with clients at all levels of an organization
  • Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership
  • Experience with implementing sustainable food practices
  • Experience leveraging technology to enhance service delivery
  • Ability to scale food service operations locally, regionally, or globally as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within Integrated Facility Management (IFM) to align food services with overall workplace experience
  • Experience developing operational service delivery solutions including documented playbooks and account operations plans

Location: Onsite where we have an office supporting the client
