The Opportunity

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Division of Academic Innovation (DAI) is seeking an Academic Innovation Systems Analyst to join the Strategy and Operations team. This role supports the administration, implementation, and ongoing management of key technology systems and integrations that enable the division's academic and operational initiatives. The Systems Analyst collaborates with leadership, technical staff, university IT partners, and vendors to ensure systems remain reliable, efficient, and aligned with institutional goals.

Reporting to the Manager of Academic Innovation Operations, the Academic Innovation Systems Analyst will develop a strong understanding of divisional workflows and identify opportunities where technology can improve efficiency, communication, and collaboration. The position supports the full lifecycle of technology solutions, including system evaluation, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support.

In addition, the role contributes to training and digital fluency initiatives by developing documentation, training materials, and onboarding resources that support effective system use across the division. The position may also lead small project teams related to system implementation or optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, and comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders to implement technical solutions and document processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is ______. The final offer will consider the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience, along with applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the stated range.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with demonstrated proficiency in spelling, grammar, basic composition, and mathematics.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of related professional experience.

  • 1-3 years of experience administering learning management systems, preferably Canvas, and organizing work within project management platforms such as Wrike, Jira, Monday, or Asana.

  • 1-3 years of experience implementing or supporting educational technology (EdTech) tools and software.

  • Demonstrated experience working with digital collaboration platforms and systems integration, such as Zoom, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an associate's degree with two or more years of relevant experience.

  • Experience developing workflows in project or task management software such as Wrike, Jira, Monday, or Asana.

  • Experience creating training materials, onboarding documentation, or user guides for technology platforms.

  • Familiarity with automation workflows, generative AI tools, and process optimization strategies.

  • Experience supporting web-based collaboration platforms, websites, or content management systems, ideally SharePoint.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
