THE POSITION

The Office of Income Maintenance, Bureau of Program Support is seeking a driven professional to join the Division of Statistical Analysis. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Program Analyst 3, you will play a critical role in enhancing organizational efficiency and ensuring adherence to federal mandates. Your primary responsibilities involve the meticulous compilation and reporting of statistical data designed to optimize operational performance and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines. Furthermore, you will be tasked with evaluating proposed policy changes to determine their potential impact on client eligibility. Beyond data management, you will serve as a vital technical resource, providing expert guidance to various divisions within the Office of Income Maintenance and other bureaus throughout the Department of Human Services. This work includes managing professional responses to Right-to-Know requests for departmental data and maintaining clear, effective communication with key partners.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days per week, following successful completion of a probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Program Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Three years of analytical experience, two of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
