In the role of Senior Federal Project Manager , we'll count on you to:

  • Direct and coordinate work of single or multi-discipline teams throughout the project's life-cycle (from development & initiation to close-out).
  • Responsible for all aspects of large multi-discipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, involving a large project staff across the whole of the HDR matrix.
  • Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently across multiple business groups and areas within HDRE, HDRA, and EOC.
  • Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing (proposal development), contractual (to include contract management), design and production meetings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners and contracted subs at both the contract and project level.
  • Develop scope and fee documentation for projects of all scopes and sizes as applicable for the execution of Federal work and demonstrate a working knowledge of the MOA.
  • Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule.
  • Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule.
  • Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
  • Implement QA/QC, OPSEC, and Safety procedures for all projects as applicable.
  • Develop a working understanding of the FAR and execution of Federal Contracts under the FAR. This includes the provisions of CUI/CMMC, and work carried out under these clauses.
  • Supervise a large project staff and act as mentor for less experienced Project Managers.
  • Supervise subordinate employees as assigned.
  • Execute other related duties as assigned.

Due to client contract requirements US Citizenship required.

This position is subject to a governmental background check

The initial assignment for this role is located on site at Joint Base Lewis McChord

Preferred Qualifications

  • US Citizen with the ability to pass a background check to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Understanding and prior work using FAR requirements
  • Deep understanding of how USACE, AFCEC, or NAVFAC operates at the Tactical, Operational, and / or strategic levels
  • Experience delivering Federal Design Projects over $25M in construction value
  • Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in-person
  • Ability to pass a background check to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 10 years related experience
  • A minimum 5 years project management experience
  • Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
  • MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus)
  • Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
