Scope:

The Wastewater Treatment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring wastewater and waste disposal operations, functions and compliance. This position is also responsible for wastewater reporting requirements, obtaining regulatory approval, and evaluating and implementing strategies to ensure regulatory requirements are being met.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees functional departments in relation to Wastewater Treatment.
  • Develops procedures used throughout the company to maintain, improve, and perpetuate all wastewater treatment functions.
  • Responsible for development, installation and maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment as well as minimization / pollution prevention programs.
  • Direct employees in wastewater treatment and waste disposal operations.
  • Supervises/Manages all department's employee functions including performance, behavior, time and attendance, progressive discipline, training, coaching, mentoring and holds employees accountable for all company, site and department HR and safety expectations.
  • Coordinates waste stream classification, waste handling and disposal, and proper documentation generation and recordkeeping.
  • Performs inspections, maintains inspection records and generates reports for wastewater and pollution control equipment and hazardous waste.
  • Ensures proper operation of plant water treatment equipment.
  • Member of the Environmental Management Team and provides support for ISO 14001 compliance.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as directed by management team.
  • Assists with EHS on stormwater program.
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
  • Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
  • Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees.
  • Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies.
  • Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause delays in schedules.
  • Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
  • Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors.
  • Acts as advisor to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.
  • Reports to EHS Manager
  • Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups.
  • Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and or 10+ years of experience in wastewater treatment facility process, procedures and functions, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in printed circuit board industry or chemical industry is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$82,542 - $137,570

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
