*Description:*
* Manage customer requests across all channels and ensure timely, accurate resolutions while proactively monitoring orders and quotes for ontime responses, shipments, and conversions. * Source and recommend the most profitable products by prioritizing internal inventory, collaborating with suppliers, securing chargebacks, promoting highmargin options, and minimizing pricing overrides. * Communicate service issues, approval needs, corrective and preventative actions, and customer feedback to management while balancing company policies with customer needs in decisionmaking. * Apply strong product knowledge to support customer selections, coordinate supplier engineering resources, and continuously improve through system proficiency, training, and adoption of company initiatives. * Identify and implement process improvements using customer feedback and performance metrics, and perform warehouse functions-including picking, packing, receiving, cycle counting, stocking, and deliveries-along with afterhours support and backup assistance as needed. *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* * 6+ months of customer service experience * High school diploma or equivalent * Demonstrated mechanical and mathematical aptitude * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly * Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel * Requires ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 occasionally. *Preferred:* * SAP experience in a customer service setting * Knowledge of industrial products and hydraulics * Ability to learn and use calipers to measure specs on a wide variety of industrial parts * Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfactions * Demonstrated passion for excellence in customer service * Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing * Has a pleasant, patient and friendly attitude * Detail oriented with strong communication and listening skills * Possess a solid work ethic and team player mentality *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Watertown, SD. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
