Description Kowledge base that is in Confluence and then research and document future state features in the Confluence cloud version as well as Sharepoint. Sharepoint is being considered as the future state knowledge base too. He/she will document and provide analysis, then help with the migration. will work across various teams. We're seeking a Knowledge Base Migration Specialist to support the hands-on migration of our knowledge base from its current platform to either Confluence Cloud or SharePoint. This is a tactical, execution-focused role requiring deep technical expertise in one or both platforms to ensure content and functionality transition smoothly. You will work directly with the Change and Knowledge Management Lead, who is driving the overall migration strategy, effort, and design, and collaborate closely with other team members throughout the migration process. Key Responsibilities Execute migration tasks from current platform to Confluence Cloud or SharePoint, ensuring content integrity and functionality Convert platform-specific elements (macros, custom HTML, widgets) to cloud-compatible or SharePoint-native solutions Build and refine page templates that maximize usability, visual appeal, and brand consistency Optimize page layouts and navigation structures for improved user experience Test migrations and configurations before production deployment Implement out-of-the-box features in Confluence Cloud or SharePoint to replace or enhance current functionality Apply design best practices to create compelling, user-friendly pages Collaborate with other team members to coordinate tasks, share progress, and ensure successful migration completion Document processes, configurations, and template standards for ongoing maintenance Required Skills and Experience Must have expertise in at least one of the following: Confluence: Experience with Confluence Server and Cloud, proficiency in macros (both versions), understanding of Confluence capabilities and limitations SharePoint: Experience with SharePoint Online, proficiency in SharePoint pages, web parts, lists, libraries, and site design Core technical skills: Solid understanding of HTML and CSS for custom page formatting and design Demonstrated ability to create and manage page templates for consistent branding and layout Strong eye for design and user experience, with ability to create visually compelling and intuitive pages Problem-solving skills to address migration challenges and find creative cloud-based solutions Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with team members Preferred Qualifications Experience with both Confluence Cloud and SharePoint Online Familiarity with migration tools and processes for either platform Experience with out of the box vs. apps, plugins, or add-ins to extend platform functionality Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design principles Application Requirements Please submit: Resume highlighting relevant platform experience (Confluence and/or SharePoint) Portfolio or samples of pages you've designed on either platform Brief description of migration or design work you've completed Skills Business analysis, confluence, requirements gathering Core technical skills: Solid understanding of HTML and CSS for custom page formatting and design Demonstrated ability to create and manage page templates for consistent branding and layout Strong eye for design and user experience, with ability to create visually compelling and intuitive pages Problem-solving skills to address migration challenges and find creative cloud-based solutions SharePoint: Experience with SharePoint Online, proficiency in SharePoint pages, web parts, lists, libraries, and site design Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
