Aging Services Supervisor

Our team administers grant operations for and collaborates with a vast network of professionals and volunteers who strive to ensure that older people in Pennsylvania receive the information they need to make informed decisions, reduce their healthcare costs, and find community supported by volunteers. In this position, your professional supervisory work in older adult services program and policy development will support a variety of grants and programs that make lasting, positive impacts in the lives of Pennsylvania's older and aging residents. You will be responsible for drafting and submitting grant applications and comprehensive reports; developing program budgets, business plans, program policy, and technical assistance documents; chairing and presenting at meetings; and monitoring grant expenditures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as an Aging Services Specialist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Three years of professional experience in a human services program conducting human services related research or providing social services to clients, and a bachelor's degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
