* Base Pay Range: $68,265.60 - $111,425.60 per year, based on experience

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

Plan, develop, and supervise the operational, functional, and planning activities for ambulatory care related to the Cerner Revenue Cycle. Design and develop new workflows and/or new functionality in the Cerner Revenue Cycle system. Inform and communicate ambulatory needs concerning planning/design/development of Cerner Revenue Cycle functionality and strategic initiatives. Investigate complex Cerner Revenue Cycle system and clinic process issues to maximize revenue opportunities and internal improvements with workflow efficiencies.

Oversee personnel management of the Ambulatory Central Team and Service Coordinators including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and approving termination. Lead, develop, and mentor all ambulatory care Service Coordinators and Central Team. Prepare Ambulatory KPI reports. Advise on data information to pull to get results and analyze data. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Fosters collaborative relationships with all health system stakeholders. Manage the development, coordination, and maintenance of daily staffing schedules to ensure the appropriate level of coverage and continuity of care. Monitor and oversee time and attendance in alignment with MU Health Care policies and practices, ensuring accuracy of records and timely approval for payroll purposes. May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.

Five (5) years of directly related experience in healthcare revenue cycle or ambulatory operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Extensive knowledge of Athena IDX, Cerner Revenue Cycle, Powerchart, and PowerBI. Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
