Position SummaryThe University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks a faculty member to join the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. The
Sleep program at the University of New Mexico is a multidisciplinary section
and has a strong sleep fellowship program and we are seeking an academically
focused applicant to join our team. This position is Open Rank, Clinician Educator. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Board eligible/certified in Sleep medicine by date of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience/skills in providing exemplary medical care for sleep disorders primarily in adult patients;
  • Experience in teaching residents and medical students
  • Evidence of scholarly activities
  • A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities
