Overview

Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

This position is located at our Milan Ohio facility.



Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant will complete a wide variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the contracts and procurement office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    General Proofreading.
  1. Uploads files into SharePoint, adding metadata as appropriate.
  2. Assists team in preparation of Power Point presentations.
  3. File maintenance.
  4. Develop templates for numerous types of documents.
  5. Compliance matrix completion.
  6. Research relevant topics as directed by management.
  7. Maintain tracking logs for contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, and modifications.
  8. Systems and data entry.
  9. Ensure accuracy of contract values, funding data, and key fields in systems.
  10. Assist in preparing contract briefs, summaries, and documentation packages.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive and controlled information.
  12. Interface with Program Management, Finance, and Procurement teams for document collection and status updates.
  13. Ensure adherence to internal procedures for document control and record retention.
  14. Support Corporate Management with day-to-day administrative tasks.


Qualifications

Must be U.S. citizen

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's degree in related field is highly preferred
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Extremely Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

III. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

  1. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be physically able to write, operate office equipment including computers, calculators, telephones, etc. and effectively communicate with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
