This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Towne Centre Drive (San Diego, CA) and remote. The Grand Central/Prelude Analyst performs a variety of duties for complex projects across the UCSD Health System enterprise. This position will be primarily responsible for implementing and supporting Information Technology applications with minimal supervision, specifically those related to the Epic Grand Central applications, this would include EVS, Patient Transport, Bed Management and Epic Prelude, which provides patient registration, address verification, and HIPAA-compliant eligibility tools to ensure accurate billing. The Grand Central Analyst is accountable for developing and executing the project plan for large and complex projects and initiatives. The Responsibilities include: top-level design, development, system configuration, implementation, and support of large and complex information systems for the organization; Planning, developing, training, implementing, and evaluating application functionality. Working with the team and key customers to ensure appropriate development, training, mentoring other staff within the team, and implementation of application functionality. They are responsible for reviewing vendor software releases and updates to determine features desired and then implement them. Incumbent will assist in maintaining current test and training environments and participate in training end-users. These positions also provide 7/24 problem management support and resolution for clinical systems. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
