Job Description The Vended Application Expert provides expertise across all major functions in their area(s) of the business and delivers product features utilizing vended software, particularly ERP applications, by applying knowledge of the application’s functionality and client business processes. The role creates technical and process designs and configures vendor software for the highly complex new or existing enterprise-wide and business-unit applications and maintenance efforts. The VAA Expert knows vendor feature roadmaps and capabilities and leverages developer groups and support processes to gain insight and provide direction.The Vended Application Expert is responsible for implementing, configuring, and operating the applications and platforms that support Allstate's engineering and business teams. This role owns the lifecycle of these systems, ensuring they are integrated effectively, secured properly, and maintained to meet enterprise standards and customer needs. They work closely with engineering teams to support reliable operations, streamline workflows, and improve how applications interact with Allstate's cloud platforms. They handle operational tasks, troubleshoot issues, coordinate enhancements, and ensure SLAs are consistently met. They also contribute to building and improving the tools and processes that enable teams to use these applications efficiently. The Vended Application Expert demonstrates strong engineering practices, drives automation and reliability improvements, and helps elevate the overall efficiency of the systems they manage. They play a key role in ensuring the applications remain stable, compliant, and aligned with Allstate's technology strategy. Key Responsibilities
