Job Description

The Retail Operations Associate Team Lead II plays a pivotal role in keeping Allstate's retail environment running smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position combines technical facility management with hands-on operational leadership. From supporting facility planning and budgeting to overseeing maintenance, emergency response, and regulatory compliance, this role ensures our stores stay operational and our teams stay supported.

Beyond operational excellence, this role also champions people leadership by coaching, training, and guiding Retail Operations team members to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Elevate Retail Operations Requests:Oversee and escalate operational requests within the team to consistently meet and exceed performance expectations.

  • Drive Operational Efficiency:Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements that enhance Retail Operations workflows and support strategic departmental goals.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making:Review and interpret both statistical and non-statistical data to improve operations and inform leadership decisions.

  • Collaborate & Communicate:Participate in meetings to share insights, gather updates, and support implementation of new programs, initiatives, and procedures.

  • Ensure Regulatory Readiness:Prepare and submit detailed documentation for OSHA- and Department of Labor-related incidents, complaints, or inquiries.

  • Support Safety & Emergency Response:Coordinate security system repairs, manage after-hours emergencies, respond to daily safety issues, and assist in developing evacuation and business continuity plans.

  • Represent Leadership:Serve as a key representative of management in Retail Facilities meetings, embodying operational expertise and professional presence.

  • Execute Special Projects:Lead and support unique projects that advance the goals of Retail Operations.

  • Contribute to Construction & Renovation Planning:Participate in technical discussions regarding new store builds and remodels, ensuring strong alignment with operational standards.

  • Oversee Critical Mechanical Systems:Provide oversight for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, UPS, furniture, and related maintenance operations across retail locations.

  • AI Tool Experience: Technical Aptitude for learning AI tools (preferred)

  • MS Excel: Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel for building and maintaining reports (preferred)

Experience

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 50,700.00 - 89,062.50 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
