Description

Our Medicare Sales Consultant is responsible for achieving sales objectives by selling Medicare Supplement plans directly to individuals eligible for Medicare. This Consultant serves as a trusted advisor and is highly consultative, requiring excellent communication skills and a deep understating of Medicare regulations, product offerings, and enrollment processes. Our Medicare Sales Consultant focuses on high-touch sales through one-on-one consultations, community events, and digital outreach.

Salary: $42,000 ~ $45,000 Plus sales bonus potential (Total package range: $90,000 - $115,000)

The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Wisconsin Remote Work
Occasional travel within Wisconsin will be expected: (i.e Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay or Fox Valley areas).

  • Have conducted personalized, compliant Medicare sales presentations in-person, by phone, or virtually.
  • Can identify a prospective member's needs and help enroll them in a Medicare Supplement plan.
  • Enjoy generating leads sales through engagement in community events, seminars, and partnerships.
  • Would like to manage a sales pipeline and maintain accurate records of activities, applications, and member interactions in the CRM.
  • Stay updated on current trends and competitors in the marketplace.
  • Thrive when collaborating with the Medicare Account Executive team to provide back-up support to broker partners.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Valid Wisconsin Life & Health Insurance Intermediary License or obtained within 60 days of hire.
  • 2 or more years of health insurance, customer service, or sales experience.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Medicare and Medicare Supplement plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including:

    • Demonstrated experience giving presentations to small or large audiences.
    • Organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and part of a team.
    • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


  • Ability to travel within the state of Wisconsin - up to 10%.
  • Valid driver's license with no moving violations or accidents in last three years.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Proficiency in CRM software.
  • Experience working with prospects in a sales environment.
