SUMMARY:

Operate a palletizer to stack finished cases correctly to produce a finished pallet. Verify that finished pallets are correct and secure according to customer specifications. Monitor quality and machine performance and maintain a clean and organized area. Only a qualified Autopal Operator or TR can relieve this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices.

  1. Operate Palletizers and Know The Capabilities
  2. Monitor Quality of Finished Cases and Finished Pallets
  3. Monitor Machine Performance and Maintain Equipment
  4. Maintain Flow of Incoming Cases and Outgoing Pallets
  5. Monitor Supplies
  6. Fill Out Paperwork and Identify Pallets (License Plates)
  7. Maintain a Clean, Safe Work Area:

  • Sit stand, walk, use hands to; finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; climb or balance; talk or hear; taste or smell; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to see caser codes and for quality control, distance vision to see the mirror on line 2 and the pallet hopper, peripheral vision to view products moving in two directions, depth perception for hand stacking, and the ability to adjust focus to see defective material on the line.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is/or could be exposed to: extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, electrical shock, high precarious positions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, all weather conditions, vibrations, loud noise


PAY INFORMATION:

Salary Range: $19.87 - 23.80/HR
This range reflects the full pay scale for all roles within this position's grade. The actual salary offer will consider various factors, such as experience and, if applicable, location. Salary increases are determined by promotional opportunities. Tree Top provides a weekly payroll. This position is eligible for annual safety incentive.
