Overview
Position Summary
The Materials Management Program Representative supports supply chain activities associated with all active classes of US submarines to support production, testing and program execution. This role serves as a key liaison between EB Program Offices, Ships Management, Operations, Contracts, Planning Departments, Finance, Design, Engineering, Purchasing, Planning Yard, various Quality Departments, Government Agencies, Newport News Ship Building, and EB Off-Site Departments to ensure material availability, resolve shortages, and communicate risks that may impact schedule performance.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently, prioritize competing demands, and proactively drive issues to resolution.
*This position is on site in our Groton, CT facility.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 2+ years equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Operations Management, Project Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, materials management, project management, manufacturing, or operations.
- Knowledge of inventory management and material planning processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP/MRP II systems.
Preferred:
- 5+ years equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Operations Management, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or defense-related programs.
- ARTEMIS, Construction/Design, MRP II, EWP/PCM, ORACLE or TEAMCENTER experience.
