Warehouse Generalist

Competitive Pay:This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $23.00/hr. to $26.50/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.

Location: Gallatin, TN

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Generalist to support our daily warehouse operations at CCIS in Gallatin, TN. This role is responsible for shipping and receiving, inventory accuracy, staging materials for production, and maintaining a safe and organized facility. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and works well both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning pick up by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase order, or to utilize OTC shipping tools (i.e. UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, CH Robinson Navisphere).
• Pulling customer pick tickets with accuracy
• Performs daily/weekly cycle counts
• Stage kits for production
• Assist in maintenance, upkeep, and trash disposal for branch facility.
• Proper maintenance and upkeep of inventory locations, inventory accuracy and organization
• Operation of pallet jacks, hand trucks, platform carts and forklifts to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
• Operation of stretch wrap banders, tape applicators, box cutters, etc in shipping and receiving process.
• Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments to proper bin location or staging area. Rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds per location protocol to escalate to shipper. Receives and processes all defective parts returned for replacement or credit.
• Perform deliveries and pickups in a company vehicle.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed or required.
• Responsible for oversight and completion of filter cut orders and fulfillment, including performing filter cutting duties as required to ensure orders are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Serve as the Facility Safety Champion, promoting and maintaining safety standards, compliance, and best practices in the warehouse.
• Any other tasks as assigned by manager/lead

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Valid driver's license required; ability to obtain a CDL if needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 70 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment

Work Environment

Work is performed in a warehouse environment and may include exposure to moving equipment, airborne particles, and industrial materials.
