Dietary Aide

Primary function is to prepare snacks, beverages, and any/all items on the resident menu count in a safe and sanitary manner and according to specific dietary guidelines and resident needs. Under the supervision of the Nutrition Services Supervisor, the dietary aide will be responsible for preparing meal trays and snacks to residents, washing/sanitizing all dishes, cleaning/mopping the kitchen, dining room, and surrounding areas, cleaning/sanitizing all prep areas, collecting, and transporting trash and/or composting to the disposal area outdoors. The dietary aide may cross train into other positions as needed/requested.

Education/Skills Required:

High School education or GED preferred. Successful completion of TABE test is required if no diploma or GED. Foodservice experience preferred.
