Applications Developer

As the Application Developer you will optimize processes within our Business Central ERP, as well as develop & maintain integrations to key 3^rd party system bolt-on applications. In this role, you'll work with various teams in the business (customer service, purchasing, warehousing, shipping, etc) to learn their processes, and then develop, deploy & maintain solutions inside of Business Central to automate & improve their workflows. This position will also work with stakeholders to develop reports that allow the business to make effective decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Hummel Pro leadership team & Business Analyst to prioritize the IT project list; participating in regular meetings to ensure alignment on priorities & provide status updates
• Manage system enhancement & implementation projects, including requirements analysis, solution design & testing, and user training & support
• Develop & maintain integrations for systems that integrate into our Business Central ERP such as WMS & B2B platforms, as well as integrated pay & payment collection solutions
• Identify reporting needs with business stakeholders & determine the best methods to provide data to our users; using tools within BC, as well as outside tools like Excel & PowerBI
• Maintain relationships with software & support vendors, working with them on support cases, implementing new features, and proper use of products
• Maintain system documentation, including change logs, common fixes to incidents, etc
• Follow all company safety, quality and housekeeping policies, procedures, and practices
• Other duties as assigned

Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years of NAV, Dynamics & Business Central application development & programming experience
• Demonstrated experience with report writing, both witin Business Central, as well as utlizing tools such as Excel & Power BI
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes in a distribution business, including sales order entry & supply chain/fulfillment processes
• Experience with Business Central extensions such as Tasklet WMS, Avalara Tax, iSolutions payments, EV Data Flow and common B2B platforms a plus
