Overview

The role of the Manager of Quality and Service Line Accreditation is to enhance patient outcomes by providing dedicated leadership, day-to-day management to the quality nurse specialists and service line coordinators of the Clinical Outcomes Department. The manager will collaborate with the Director to analyze current practices, setting measurable goals and then lead initiatives focused on improving patient outcomes. The manager will lead and coordinate projects designed to advance patient outcomes, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and tracking progress toward strategic objectives. The manager will serve as an outcomes liaison on initiatives/processes including but not limited to stroke, sepsis, NDNQI, mortality review, HAC/PSI.


Qualifications

Certifications:

  • Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN, IL.) and
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days and
  • IHI Open School Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety within 1 year and
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) within 1 year

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Nursing

Work Experience:

  • Quality - 1 year
  • Process Improvement (preferred)
  • Change Management (preferred)
  • Team Management (i.e., charge nurse, lead, supervisor)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure clear communication, guidance, and support
  • Collaborate with the Director to analyze current practices
  • Set measurable goals
  • Lead initiatives focused on improving patient outcomes
  • Lead and coordinate projects designed to advance patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and tracking progress toward strategic objectives
  • Serve as an outcome's liaison on initiatives/processes:
    • including but not limited to stroke, sepsis, NDNQI, mortality review, HAC/PSI
  • Assist with HRHC Quality oversight
  • Review cases for opportunities based on Vizient and other data sources
  • Represent the Quality department at high level meetings
  • Assure timeliness and efficacy of team response

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $47.38per hour - $81.49per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
