Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (GenAI Focus) for an onsite contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in McLean, VA. This is a contract opportunity through December 31, 2026.
Summary:
This role is focused on enabling and supporting Generative AI capabilities within an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as an infrastructure engineer, with hands-on expertise in designing and supporting AWS platform solutions, particularly AWS GenAI services, networking, and IAM.
Responsibilities:
- Design and support AWS platform infrastructure solutions
- Enable and support GenAI capabilities using AWS GenAI services (Bedrock, Q, Sagemaker, etc.)
- Manage AWS Networking components such as PrivateLink, Security Groups, Route53, and VPCs
- Handle authentication and authorization of services via SCP, KMS, Policies, and Roles
- Design, develop, deploy, and automate CloudFormation Templates (CFT) with CI/CD pipelines
- Participate in an on-call rotation once every 5 weeks
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of infrastructure experience in an enterprise cloud platform environment
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience with GenAI enablement
- In-depth, hands-on experience with AWS GenAI services, AWS networking, and IAM
- Demonstrable experience with CFT, Python, or Shell Scripts
- Experience with EKS, Jenkins, Git (BitBucket), Artifactory, ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence
- Hand-on experience with the design, implementation, integration, and operational support of Cloud-based applications at the platform level
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, driven, and creative individual
Desired skills:
- Experience with AWS Bedrock
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure OpenAI, GCP, and Gemini
Pay range: $85.00 - $89.00 per hour
