What You'll Do

As BIM Project Coordinator, you'll set up and maintain BIM models across multiple projects-partnering with project managers and design teams to align standards, coordinate files, and deliver accurate, constructible documents on schedule and within budget.

  • Provide BIM project file setup and maintenance across active design projects; ensure models, links, and sheets are organized for delivery.
  • Update and clean models; manage worksets, warnings, file transmittals, and version control to maintain model performance.
  • Coordinate BIM standards and execution plans with clients and architects; complete setup questionnaires and manage changes as standards evolve.
  • Communicate with project managers to capture scope, schedules, and deliverable requirements needed for setup and coordination.
  • Monitor and enforce BIM/CAD standards compliance for all drawing-related deliverables; coach team members on best practices.
  • Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors for linked models and deliverable alignment; attend coordination and preconstruction meetings as needed.
  • Report model status and issues clearly; escalate outstanding items to BIM Support Staff for timely resolution.
  • Support design teams with Revit/AutoCAD tasks and 2D drafting needs to keep production moving.
  • Build positive client relationships through responsive coordination and reliable BIM execution.
  • Pursue continuous improvement and professional growth in BIM, VDC, and 3D modeling tools.
