Job Type:RegularThe Operations Leadership Development Program is an 18-month rotational experience designed for recent graduates who aspire to become future leaders in operations. This program provides immersive, hands-on exposure to Agropur's core operational areas-production, maintenance & engineering, supply chain & logistics, quality assurance, and continuous improvement-while building leadership and business capabilities.
Through structured rotations, associates will:
*Gain practical experience driving operational excellence and process improvements
*Strengthen leadership skills to inspire teams and deliver measurable results
*Develop strategic business insight to influence decision-making and organizational success
The program culminates in a capstone project, where associates lead a cross-functional improvement initiative and present recommendations to senior leadership. Graduates of the program will be prepared to assume impactful leadership roles within Agropur's operations network.
Specific duties and responsibilities vary with each rotation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Program Learning & Development
- Learn and apply Agropur's mission, values, and strategic pillars to support organizational success.
- Actively engage in leadership development training and apply concepts in real-world scenarios.
- Build knowledge of operational practices and procedures across multiple functional areas.
Operational Responsibilities
- Participate in structured rotations within production, maintenance & engineering, supply chain, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute day-to-day operations and assist in process improvement initiatives.
- Develop an understanding of specific roles and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and support cross-functional collaboration.
Safety & Compliance
- Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Follow all facility safety rules and procedures; stop unsafe acts and report hazards promptly.
- Support Agropur's safety policies and programs.
Capstone Project
- Lead a cross-functional improvement initiative and present recommendations to senior leadership at program completion.

Qualifications: Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Dairy Manufacturing, Production and Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related technical or business field. Experience Preferred: Internship or relevant project experience in manufacturing, operations, or industrial technology preferred. Certification/Licensure Required: None Skills Required: Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Proficient in basic computer applications (email, word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and apply logical problem-solving methods
- Intermediate math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, comparative analysis, measurements, basic statistics)

- Strong communication skills-verbal and written-with ability to present ideas clearly
- Ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively, and work in diverse teams
- Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
