Report/BI Developer

We are seeking a skilled Report Developer / BI Developer to design, develop, and support business intelligence solutions that empower data driven decision making across the organization. This role focuses on building dashboards, reports, datasets, and data integrations using SQL, enterprise BI tools, and modern analytics platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, experience with multiple reporting environments, and a proven ability to translate business needs into accurate, actionable insights.

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and analytical reports using enterprise BI tools (such as Power BI RS, Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau, or SSRS).
• Develop and optimize SQL based datasets, stored procedures, and queries to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Validate report accuracy through data profiling, testing scripts, and cross system comparisons.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions.
• Provide administrative support for BI platforms such as Power BI RS, Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau, or other analytics environments.
• Assist with upgrades, configuration changes, and performance tuning for BI tools and reporting platforms.
• Manage access, security requests, and user onboarding through tools such as FreshService or internal governance processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain EDI solutions that facilitate efficient data exchange with trading partners
• Support the integration of EDI systems with internal and external applications, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, databases, and processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Several years of experience developing reports, dashboards, or analytics solutions within enterprise environments preferred.

• Strong proficiency in SQL (T SQL) and relational database concepts (SQL Server, Azure SQL, or similar).
• Experience with one or more BI/reporting tools such as Power BI RS, Power BI, SSRS, SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of ETL concepts and data workflows; familiarity with tools such as Azure Data Factory or comparable technologies.
• Ability to work with complex data models, large datasets, and cross system integrations.
• Experience supporting end users, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical guidance or customer-facing support.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non technical audiences.
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team based environment.

This role is primarily office based and involves standard computer related tasks, including extended periods of sitting, typing, and collaborating with team members.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.
