Summary: The MWRA is seeking an Intern, Internal Audit to support project and contract audits to determine whether reasonable, allowable and allocable costs are paid to consultants, contractors and vendors. Support financial, operational and compliance audits. Support reviews of MWRA's policies, procedures and operational management methods to insure employee safety, reduce operational waste in terms of time, resources and money, and supports the evaluation of the ways in which assets are safeguarded from theft, fraud and employee abuse. Support the assessment of controls to ensure the integrity, reliability, efficiency and effectiveness of established systems, policies and contracts.
