Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will assist in improvement of manufacturing processes such as composite layup, machining, welding, and assembly. This internship provides hands-on experience in engineering tasks related to our products, supporting ongoing projects and gaining valuable industry knowledge. The candidate must have completed at least 60 hours currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and able to work at least 40 hours per week during the summer and/or Fall Semester 2026.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support production processes with the goal of improving efficiency, product quality and safety.
- Apply APQP principals to improve New Product Introduction (NPI), including development of PFMEA and Control Plans.
- Participate in review of nonconforming product to determine root causes and implement effective corrective actions
- Support documentation of engineering processes including manufacturing planning and visual work instructions
- Learn to navigate Enterprise Resource Planning systems
- Learn Change Management for process changes and drawing changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and deadlines.
- Perform basic research and data analysis to contribute to manufacturing improvements.

- Must have completed at least 60 hours toward Engineering degree
