    Job Summary

    The Manager of Corporate Communications supports the development and execution of corporate communications and creative initiatives that reinforce the company's brand, culture and business priorities. This role blends strong communications management with hands-on creative leadership, establishing and evolving strategies to enable high-quality messaging and creative deliverables. This leader operates as both a skilled practitioner and people leader, partnering cross-functionally while working within defined strategic direction, brand standards and governance frameworks.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Influence and execute corporate communications plans aligned to enterprise strategy and leadership direction, translating messaging and concepts into engaging, well-crafted creative deliverables

    • Serve as a trusted communications partner, drafting, editing and managing internal communications including executive messages, employee updates and change-related communications

    • Support external communications efforts, ensuring alignment to brand strategy and accuracy, clarity and consistency of messaging across channels

    • Manage content calendars and day-to-day communications workflows

    • Lead creative execution across content, design, presentations, video and digital assets within established brand guidelines

    • Contribute to the establishment of communication frameworks, governance models and brand standards

    • Determine meaningful performance metrics for communications and creative initiatives; manage a measurement cadence to ensure visibility and continuous improvement

    • Drive strong results from direct reports by providing appropriate work direction, strategic guidance and performance management

    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Design, or a related field

    • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, brand, or creative roles

    • 5+ years of experience leading, coaching and performancemanaging direct reports and crossfunctional or agency partners

    • Demonstrated experience managing communications workflows, content calendars and competing priorities

    • Proven experience serving as a trusted communications advisor to senior leaders, including executive and sensitive messaging

    • Experience leading creative development across multiple formats while adhering to brand standards and governance

    • Proven ability to define and apply performance metrics to measure and improve communications and creative effectiveness

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals of all professional levels

    • Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting change communications and executive/employee messaging in complex environments

    • Working knowledge of digital publishing (e.g., intranet/CMS) and basic HTML

    • Proficiency with creative production tools/workflows (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and partnering effectively with designers/creative teams

    • Experience writing to support organizations in government, nonprofit/education, financial services, and/or student loan industry

    The pay range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, peer and market benchmarks, and geographic location. Additionally, this position qualifies for an annual incentive of up to 15% of base salary, contingent upon individual and company performance.
