SALARY: $175k

Astrion is seeking a Test Lead for the Epoch 2 USSF contract. This candidate will support MEO Epoch to develop, review, lead, and assess end-to-end test plans across space and ground systems.

SSC's Resilient MWT MEO program is focused on the rapid acquisition of robust infrared sensing technology and integrating it into an entirely new satellite constellation in MEO. These satellites are designed to detect and track a range of threats, from large, bright intercontinental ballistic missile launches to dim, maneuvering hypersonic missiles. The program integrates with the broader national missile defense architecture with Epoch 2 providing primary purpose of delivering resilient global hypersonic missile tracking access.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • BA or BS degree
  • 10+ years' experience in DoD or Civil space systems acquisition environment
  • Strong technical background and familiarity with testing space and ground systems in support of a government program office.
  • Knowledge of verification and validation methods
  • Demonstrated ability to author and review test plans, ADRL deliverables & technical documentation
  • Able to interface with the program office staff in-person on a regular basis and be able to dedicate 100% of their time to being the MEO Test Lead
  • Familiarity with space and ground test campaigns
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams
