Payment Processing & Loan Servicing Specialist About the Role We're looking for a detailoriented and highly organized Payment Processing & Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure loan accounts are accurate, payments are applied correctly, and customers receive exceptional service. This is a great opportunity for someone with auto or mortgage finance experience who thrives in a fastpaced, collaborative environment. What You'll Do * Maintain accurate loan account balances and amortization schedules as payments are processed. * Collaborate with Loan Servicing, Collections, and Customer Service to resolve payment disputes, plan adjustments, or account corrections. * Assist with payoff quotes by ensuring all payments are properly reflected beforehand. * Support escrow, insurance, and fee adjustments related to payment changes. * Deposit check payments accurately and in a timely manner. * Apply all payments in the servicing system according to defined distribution rules. * Perform daily reconciliation across all payment sources and distribute results within internal servicelevel agreements. * Apply lockbox payments and manage reversals/reapplications as needed. * Partner with IT to ensure accurate monthend account data and perform corrections when necessary. * Waive fees in accordance with policy. * Work the unapplied payments queue to ensure proper payment application. * Set up recurring payments in the servicing system. * Retrieve and distribute daily mail to appropriate teams. * Process unwinds, net funds, and loan modifications. * Review ACH setup reports to ensure sameday payments are processed correctly. * Review NSF fee reports to confirm fees are applied properly. What You Bring * 1-3 years of payment processing or loan servicing experience, preferably in auto finance (mortgage experience also considered). * Intermediate knowledge of NACHA rules and payment compliance. * A track record of high performance and reliability. * Familiarity with CRM systems and standard office technology. * Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. * Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * High school diploma or equivalent. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
