Hospitalist to join UNC Johnston, Smithfield, NC

UNCHealth Johnston is looking for BC/BEhospitalist to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Smithfield and Clayton, NC. Affiliated with UNC Rex, these positions involve delivering high-quality, team-based benefits including, quality bonus, CME, retirement plan and malpractice coverage.

Smithfield is located just thirty minutes from Raleigh, the vibrant state capital. Schedule: 7 days on and 7 days off (7am-7pm)

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school
• Internal Medicine Residency preferred
• BC/BE
• 1 to 2 years' experience

• Meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

• Board Certified Internal Medicine
• DEA;MD

Professional Experience Requirements:

Prefer prior hospitalist experience.

Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

REASONING ABILITY

High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
