Position Location:
This position is remote and does not require regular in-office presence. Position Description: Utilize retirement plans experience and relationship building skills to accomplish mutually beneficial growth. Cultivate relationships between the Ameritas Home Office, financial professionals, and qualified plan decision makers with the goal of retaining and growing plan assets. Relationship-building is a key focus of this role. This position interacts with plan sponsors both virtually and face to face. An ability to present professionally via virtual tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.) is necessary. This role will require travel approximately 50-75% of the time covering states in the Southeast (primary Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas). Overnight stays and evening meetings will be required. Assist Regional Directors, Internal Regional Sale Consultants and Financial Advisors in achieving sales goals, developing business plans, and identifying opportunities to improve outcomes for your plans and participants. Guide large new plans through the installation and transfer process; including conducting enrollment meetings, reviewing the plan adoption agreement with the client, reviewing the contract with the client, obtaining signatures, explaining data and contribution transmission methods, and resolving any problems that may arise during the installation and transfer process. What you do * Schedule, plan, and execute both virtual and in person annual plan reviews and other client meetings * Deliver both virtual and in person participant enrollment and education meetings * Respond and resolve escalated client service issues * Manage both virtual and in person financial professional meetings and relationships * Proactive outreach calls and both virtual and in person meetings * Work with retention and pricing initiatives * Plan design reviews and discussions * Attend both virtual and in person sales final meetings * Both virtual and in person on-boarding of new plans * Consistently log CRM system activity * Identify at-risk clients while mitigating and managing risk What you bring * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. * 4-7 years of previous retirement plans experience required, including an understanding of master investment contracts, fees and expenses, plan design, investment basics, and fiduciary concepts * Position requires FINRA series 6: If not held at the time of hire, the series 6 license and any required state insurance license must be secured within six months of hire. * Position requires FINRA series 65: If not held at the time of hire, the series 65 license must be obtained with twelve months of hire. * 3 years of retirement plan client relationship management experience, including a general knowledge of nondiscrimination testing, 5500 preparation, investments, mutual funds, and separate accounts desired. * Experience with serving 457(b) plans preferred * Bilingual capabilities in Spanish and English a plus * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Retirement Plan Administration systems, CRM systems, and virtual technology * Excellent telephone and virtual meeting/presentation skills, with an ability to also facilitate in-person meetings * Ability to travel up to 75% of the time across assigned territory required What We Offer * Our company motto is "Fulfilling Life" and we take that job seriously, with a heavy commitment to volunteering and community support, employee well-being, and providing quality products and services that help our customers create a brighter future. * Being a mutual-based organization, the return on our investment goes back into the company, to benefit our members/customers. * We're committed to professional development, opportunity, inclusion and diversity.
