Led by Visa's Chief Data Officer, the Global Data Office coordinates high-impact, complex, company-wide projects related to data business strategy, critical investments, policy development, and marketplace execution. Working closely with Visa's Chief Privacy Officer, the Technology organization, Government Solutions, the wider data community, and the full set of Visa's global lines of business, the Global Data Office is evolving Visa's data and AI-related work with momentum and enthusiasm. Role Overview

Visa is seeking an accomplishedSenior Manager, Data Productsto drive innovation and growth across ourGovernment & Merchant Data Products portfolio. This role focuses on building and scalingexternal, clientfacing, commercial data and AIpowered productsthat deliver actionable insights, recommendations, and measurable business outcomes for customers.

You will own product strategy and execution endtoend-from ideation through commercialization-working directly with clients and crossfunctionally with engineering, data science, AI, privacy, legal, and gotomarket teams. The ideal candidate brings strongexecutive presence, exceptional communication skills, and demonstrated experiencebuilding and launching AIenabled product featuresthat have been adopted by external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution forexternal, clientfacing commercial data and AI products, aligning customer needs, market opportunities, and Visa's business objectives
  • Lead the full product lifecycle-from concept and pilot throughcommercial launch, client adoption, and ongoing optimization
  • Drive the definition and delivery ofAIenabled features, partnering closely with data science and engineering teams to translate models into productionready product capabilities
  • Engage directly with clients and partners to capture requirements, validate use cases, and influence product direction and adoption
  • Supportgotomarket execution, including pricing, positioning, and product messaging for commercial data and AIpowered solutions
  • Define and track product success metrics (e.g., adoption, revenue impact, client outcomes), using data to guide prioritization and tradeoffs
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and responsible AI standards
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and outcomes withclarity and executive presenceto senior leaders, clients, and crossfunctional stakeholders
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Experience working directly with merchants or merchant data products
  • Demonstrated success in building and launching new data or AI-powered products
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with data-driven, fintech, or payments products
  • Technical background (e.g., experience with data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML technologies)
  • Strong understanding of data product management, including insights generation, recommendations engines, and data visualization
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms, analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, SQL), and AI/ML frameworks
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and responsible AI practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver products from concept to launch
  • Experience in Agile environments and tools such as JIRA
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 169,100.00 to 270,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
