The Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining company documents while ensuring proper document control procedures are followed. The role ensures that documents are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to authorized personnel.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and maintain construction project documents in physical and electronic form.
  • Ensure proper document control procedures and standards are followed.
  • Register, track, and distribute project documents.
  • Maintain document logs, registers, and filing systems.
  • Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Control document versions and revisions.
  • Ensure confidential documents are securely stored.
  • Coordinate with project teams, engineers, and management for document updates.
  • Archive completed project documents according to company policies.
  • Support audits and quality management processes.

Required Skills


  • Strong organizational and document management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of document control systems.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of documents.

Technical Skills


  • Proficiency in:

    • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Document management systems (DMS)
    • PDF editing tools
    • Procore
    • SharePoint


  • Understanding of document numbering and version control.

Education & Experience


  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 2-5 years of experience in document control or administrative roles (industry dependent).
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Construction, engineering, real estate, manufacturing, or infrastructure industry domain experience, with strong preference for construction industry experience.

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 90,000 - 136,000 USD / Annual

United States - Redwood City Office GHQ : 109,000 - 163,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
