• High school or GED equivalent preferred.
• Requires good mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up and maintenance.
  
  Thorough knowledge of equipment problem-solving.
• Basic computer familiarity.
• Basic knowledge of current postal regulations and the basic elements of mailing and printing to communicate with other production associates about the work requirements.
• Ability to move freely throughout the building to gather information, materials, and authorizations.

Your Role on the Floor

• Set up and operate mail inserting equipment to complete mailing projects according to job specifications
• Ensure all work complies with current postal regulations and company quality standards
• Coordinate inserting, metering, and mail sorting activities to meet customer deadlines
• Monitor production flow to maintain efficiency and productivity goals
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance
• Inspect mail pieces and finished work to verify quality and accuracy
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and customer expectations
