Here's what we're looking for.



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in field service for medical devices, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-regional, nationwide service teams, including 3rd party service providers.
  • Deep understanding of service logistics, technical troubleshooting, and compliance in the medical device space.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in scaling service organizations in high-growth environments.
  • Experience with capital equipment and long-term service contracts.
  • Travel required up to 25%.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy



  • Lead and manage a team of field service associates.
  • Develop and execute a service strategy aligned with company goals, focusing on scalability, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Create and manage KPIs for field service performance (response times, first-time fix rate, cost efficiencies, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to support new product launches and create associated service documentation.


Operations Management



  • Ensure timely and high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair services.
  • Optimize resource planning and technician dispatch.
  • Implement and manage field service systems using Oracle NetSuite.
  • Drive continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma activities.


Compliance & Quality



  • Ensure all service operations comply with FDA 21CFR820, ISO 13485, and other applicable medical device regulations.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and support FDA inspections.
  • Partner with Quality and Regulatory Affairs teams to manage service-related CAPAs, recalls, and incident reporting.


Customer Experience & Commercial Support



  • Champion a customer-first culture; maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Support service contract growth, upsell opportunities, and renewals.
  • Engage directly with key accounts and KOLs as needed.
