As the Senior Program Coordinator for the Master in Business, Climate, & Sustainability (MBCS), you'll be a vital part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team supporting a 10month, cohortbased joint master's program between the Nicholas School of the Environment (NSOE) and the Fuqua School of Business. You will serve as a key connector across the student experience-from recruitment and onboarding through graduation-supporting academic advising, program administration, and practicum coordination while engaging with faculty, admissions, registrar teams, career services, and campus partners. Your work directly shapes student success, program quality, and the delivery of a meaningful, clientengaged practicum experience. *Resume and cover letter required. What You'll Do: Client Practicum Administration (35%) - Work with faculty to provide implementation support for the required curriculum-based client practicum. Engage with clients to facilitate practicum projects. Support clients in project proposal development, facilitate the proposal review process, and schedule meetings. - Develop and implement communication pathways and materials for clients, alumni relations offices, and career centers. Lead client information sessions to communicate the purpose, value, and timeline of the practicum. - Maintain client portfolios and key student and client deadlines. - Develop training materials, lead information sessions, and communicate practicum expectations. - Support development of materials and communication pathways for clients, alumni relations offices, and career centers. - Collect and summarize client and student feedback. Student Services & Academic Support (20%) - Serve as the primary contact for MBCS students and provide administrative support for the program. - Advise on degree requirements, academic policies, timelines, and requirements. Maintain student records. - Hold office hours and represent students in support meetings. Program Administration & Student Engagement (20%) - Liaise across NSOE, Fuqua, faculty, and leadership. - Maintain shared resources, notes, and documentation. - Colead program logistics, including onboarding, orientation, student events, and graduation. - Support SACS reporting, evaluation, and data needs. Communications & Outreach (15%) - Draft and distribute program communications across multiple platforms. - Collaborate with marketing to highlight practicum projects and student experience. - Support recruitment, application review, and admitted student programming. General Administration (10%) - Process financial transactions and support budget tracking. - Represent MBCS on committees and initiatives, and in meetings. - May supervise staff or student employees. What You Will Need to Be Successful: Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. - Three years of experience in program administration or related work. - OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience supporting graduate or professional programs, and faculty. - Event planning experience. - Familiarity with Duke systems (DukeHub, Concur, Canvas, Qualtrics). - Experience with evaluation, assessment, or data analysis. - Budget management experience. - Interest or background in sustainability or climate-focused fields. - Ability to work occasional early morning, evening, and weekend work to support events. Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $48,960.00 to USD $77,928.00.
